Trees

Let her dance in the rain,
Cheering the peacocks who slain;
Let her glow in the sun,
Leaving her shadow refresh everyone;
Let her sing with the wild wind,
Echoing all throughout her rind;
Let her fragrantly bloom,
Making the honey bees blend tune;
Let her touch the sky,
Attracting the eyes of every passerby;
Let her stay rooted to the grounds,
And during season, shed some pounds;
Let her share with you, her sweetness,
Burying down all her bitterness;
Let her breathe in some air,
Let her show you some care;
Let her live,
For she gives you all that she could give.

About the author

-

Reshma Sudhakar

She is just alike her favourite pizza from her usual pizza place: A strong base of love, toppled with a smile that goes cheeeesseee, a layered hot madness with her passion for singing, writing and all things exciting. All packed in a 5"8 feet soul who delivers herself at her office from 9-5 just like another corporate employee.

About Us

Hello readers!
We,
The Cognitive Quotient, are a collaborative family of litterateurs, poets, storytellers and budding authors. In this world of compulsions and norms, we strive to build a community where ‘literariness’ is our colour and ‘freedom of speech’ is our right. Peep in and have the pleasure to plunge into the depths of consciousness and art, colour the world in your own perceptual mysticism, and join a community of creative and passionate followers! We feel, we write, we publish! This is a small step of our own to make this world a better and colorful place to live in through our artistry.
