Poetry

In Memory of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman

Once we fell into the deepest troubles,
We were rudderless,
Spiritless,
Lifeless.
Then there came a nietzschean 'Superman '
All powerful,
Vigorous,
Indomitable,
Cheerful and
well spirited.
He ushered the way of light,
Freedom and
Equality.
He won us the land,
saved us and
freed us from the hyenas.
He started again
To advance
To walk of own
To stand upright.
And he passed some distance.
We the blood of Yago,
Mrjafar
bloomed our luciferous glimpse,
And killed our god in a godless world.
Still we regret.
But blood cannot be recirculated.
It swims, it passes.
Cries will never stop.

About Us

Hello readers!
We,
The Cognitive Quotient, are a collaborative family of litterateurs, poets, storytellers and budding authors. In this world of compulsions and norms, we strive to build a community where ‘literariness’ is our colour and ‘freedom of speech’ is our right. Peep in and have the pleasure to plunge into the depths of consciousness and art, colour the world in your own perceptual mysticism, and join a community of creative and passionate followers! We feel, we write, we publish! This is a small step of our own to make this world a better and colorful place to live in through our artistry.
